Hadgkiss Hughes & Beale offer a comprehensive service in this field from experienced practitioners. The department is headed by partner James Norton who is based in the Acocks Green office.

In the Hall Green office, Hannah Finnegan is an assistant solicitor dealing with Probate and the Administration of Estates. Anne Norton is an Associate Legal Executive, based at our Moseley office, and has been dealing with Wills for many years.

James Norton LLB

Partner, Solicitor admitted 1992 ~ A Non-contentious lawyer experienced in property matters and Wills and Probate. Joined the Firm in 2001 and became a Partner in February 2004.

Anne Norton A CILex

Associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives qualified in 2007 ~ She has been working in our conveyancing team since 1978 successfully advising on over 2000 conveyancing matters during that time.

Anne is friendly and approachable and explains legal matters in jargon free terms. She has a large client base and is now acting for grandchildren of some of her original clients. She has a good relationship with both her clients and local estate agents.

Her main focus is acting for clients in residential conveyancing matters including buying and selling both leasehold and freehold properties, re-mortgages and transfers of equity.

Roderick Brindley LLB

Consultant, Solicitor admitted 1973 ~ A non-contentious practitioner specialising in Probate and Trusts (Rod was a Member of the Law Society’s Probate Section and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), Property Law and the acquisition and disposal of businesses.

Formerly the Senior Partner. A busy practitioner with a loyal client following built up during over 40 years with the Firm.
